PHILIPPINES – 5.9-Magnitude Earthquake Reported
On 16 November 2020, a 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck 8km east of Salvacion (Surigao del Sur province). No tsunami warning has been issued. There is an increased risk of disruption in the area. 

PHILIPPINES – Three arrested for possession of drugs in Pasay
Reports indicate that three suspects have been arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at a fast-food restaurant on Roxas Boulevard. There is an increased risk of disruptions due to investigations and heightened security.

PHILIPPINES – Typhoon Ulysses has caused severe flooding and displacement
The provincial government said it recorded five deaths, 25 injuries, and four missing persons due to Ulysses. The strong winds and heavy rains brought by Ulysses had also toppled trees, electric posts, and caused power outages in Camarines Norte. There is an increased risk to travel disruptions until the flood recedes and damaged roads can be repaired.

PHILIPPINES – COVID-19 Update: 410,718 Confirmed Cases Reached as of 18 November 2020
Philippines has a total of 410,718 COVID-19 cases and 7,862 deaths as of 18 November 2020. There is an increased risk to health and of disruption as efforts to halt the spread of the virus are to continue over the coming weeks.
