How Horus-I Works
As the Horus-I app has been custom built in-house by the Horus Research and Development Team, we are able to create a travel security intelligence app that is adaptable to a range of different clients operating in a spectrum of sectors.

At its core, the Horus-i App is an intelligence dissemination platform with the ability to send alerts on the latest news, global travel alerts and early warning notifications direct to the user’s phone, 24/7.
Our team of security researchers and WatchKeepers are trained to use the most up-to-date open-source intelligence research tools to identify and disseminate reliable and accurate alerts to the Horus-I user.
ACTIVE ALERTS
Users can scroll through every active alert via the ‘Active Alerts’ section in the menu or scrolling around the map on the dashboard.
NEAR-ME OPTION
‘Near-Me’ uses our precise monitoring technology to notify you of alerts in your immediate area including SMS messages in areas of poor phone signal.
PERSONALISED
Access to alerts in over 20 Incident categories in over 200 countries, these alerts can be tailored to the specific interests of clients.

Early testing of Horus-I highlighted the need for practicality. Therefore the Horus development team specifically built the app to use minimal battery and data usage and continue to operate in areas of weak signal.

Unique to the Horus-I app, the ‘WatchMeClosely’ feature is designed to offer assistance in times where a traveller feels unsafe.
This is an enhanced check-in feature activated by pressing a single button on the dashboard, WatchMeClosely increases the number of location data points transmitted to the Control Room and alerts the WatchKeeper on-duty to make 1-to-1 contact to offer expert assistance to get the user to safety.

The Advice Center connects users with our security experts at the Horus Control Centre where they are available 24/7 to provide you with the necessary assistance.
In the case of an emergency, the telephone icon on the dashboard will directly connect you with the local emergency services number as well as send a notification to the Control Room that you require assistance.
We provide additional ‘Guardian Services’ for assistance in unfamiliar situations such as medical appointments or negotiating with real estate agents.

WEBHOOK INTEGRATION
