LATVIA – Rīga – One Dead In Apartment Block Fire
In Riga, a five-storey residential building has caught fire. Three are injured, and one has been found dead. The fire is now under control. Potential congestion in the area as the investigation continues. 

LATVIA – Zemgale – Yellow Weather Warning Issued
A severe weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for Zemgale on 14 October 2020. There is an increased risk of travel disruption due to potentially hazardous road conditions.

LATVIA – Grobina – One Dead In Fire
A fire erupted at a one storey residential home in Grobina. The fire is under control but one has been found dead. Potential congestion in the area as the investigation continues. 

LATVIA – Nationwide – COVID-19 Update: 3,056 Confirmed Cases Reached as of 16 October 2020
Latvia has a total of 3,056 COVID-19 cases and 41 deaths as of 16 October 2020. There is an increased risk to health and of disruption as efforts to halt the spread of the virus are to continue over the coming weeks.
